NEWS: 5.01.10 well well WELL. it's been a long time hasn't it. with so much going on in our personal lives as well as our professional, the Fatsquad lay dormant no longer. with Free Comic Book Day comes an eerie announcement, one, that will rattle the cartoon fat guy seen to it's very CORE.
1.17.09 well well well, it's been quite a long time over here at the squad camp. Apologies for not keeping up with updates like we had liked to, but Christmas time is always hectic, and this year expecially.
so i hope everyone had a good christmas and a happy new year, and i'm glad to have shipped out quite a few squad christmas books this year.
so, there's a few new comics up, and we're planning on posting the rest of the time travel story up relatively soon so we can get past this huge story, and onto, hopefully, new stuff.
we have had a string of bad luck here, from our super secret project basically getting shot and killed, and not making the order numbers for our book release in Diamond, thus getting taken out of nationwide distribution. It's saddening, and one hell of a setback. But rest assured, Book 2 is all written, we just need to get our hands onto drawing paper to finish up the artwork.
so hopefully 2009 looks a little brighter for the Fatsquad, but, to quote Harvey Dent, "It's always darkest before the Dawn".

11.30.08 New comic is up, hope ya'll like it. It's a doozy. We're working on lots of ballistic squad stuff, but until then, head over to our store and pick up something for a loved one. Christmas is right around the corner. Little Jimmy would cry tears of joy on Christmas day if he opened up a nice new Fatsquad T-shirt. Lord knows Pop would like to kick back after the festivities and enjoy the Fatsquad Christmas Special. Heck, he might even want to read it to all the youngin's in front of the fireplace on Christmas Eve! Mom? Well she'd most likley...hmm. You know what? Your mom wouldn't want any part of the Squad. It's not for old ladies.
Anyway. Better get those orders in soon!

So the convention was a big success. We sold lots of Squad stuff and met up with our old pals Rich Woodall and the Severed Head Gang. Fun was had by all. It was also the debut of our new Al and Fat Dan stand ups! Ladies were begging to get their picture taken with them. We didn't stop chuggin Captain Eli's Soda until the convention was done. We also got interviewed by about 200 different newspapers, and you've probably already caught those in your local papers. If you didn't go, you missed out! 11.12.08 Check out the new comics up! CONGRATULATIONS PRESIDENT ELECT BARACK OBAMA! No matter how you feel about it, this was a historic election. And now that all the mud slinging and stupid crap about Troopergate and William Ayers is out of the picture, we can get back to not caring about anything once again.

So Rich, Al, and Dan went to the fair last night and spent over 50 dollars on food a piece, Josh had to stay home and work on some sweet shirt designs (man that josh guy is dedicated!) and some album work, so he stayed home and listened to a Jordan Maxwell Documentary about the Illuminati. No, not Prof X, Black Bolt, Sub Mariner, Dr. Strange, or Iron Man...the real life Illuminati. Rothschild's and Rockefeller type stuff.

went and saw Pineapple Express, the movie was just a straight up good time, there weren't a lot of scream-out-loud laughing moments but the whole thing was worth a chuckle.
Went and saw HELLRIDE as well. i'll tell you what, i've never seen a movie with that many sets of bare breasts that was not some sort of pornography ever in my life. all in all it was ok, but A+ for swearing, boobies, gore kills, and sweet motorcycles.
now, you're talking about movies, TROPIC THUNDER was f*cking awesome! Bravo Tom Cruise. I'm also glad that the most unfunny actor (Jack Black) had a welcoming small role in this. I can't remember all of the lines that Robert Downey JR said but every word that came out of his mouth was gold.

couple HUGE things going on for the Squad, we are now the featured comic in the C.O.D. (how fitting) with a new format and new strips. It's a music and Art's paper for the Cape Cod area. check their site http://www.readcod.com/ soon, the site's not up and running yet, but we'll be sure to let all of you know when it's coming out!
i'm sure all of you heard about Jetpack Comics FCBD extravaganza, it was indeed an epic event in which rain, nor blustery nor'easterly winds could kill, check out myspace for pics of the event, or head over to JP's extensive pictoral library! we've had quite a lot of feedback from our FCBD offering, most notably, the centerfold.......which, i'm sure, women who were lucky enough to recieve a copy, are fanning their vaginas with the open pages due to the intense eroticism splayed out on the pages within. The Fatsquad, we entice as well as entertain.
and lastly we'd like to thank the dudes over at Biff Bam Pow Comics for reviewing the Squad. We're honored to be on there! check out all their reviews and maybe pick up some books you weren't aware were so awesome.
